Why the sudden change of name?
SHEEN was founded by a family who love all things vintage. Since, its inception in 2017 each season our designers design new retro and vintage-inspired clothing, colours and prints.
On a sourcing trip to China and India our founders were confronted with shocking amount of pollution the garment factories were producing. The family felt compelled to take steps to improve the relationship between what we wear and the world we live in without abandoning their love for heads turning style.
The family felt the name ‘timeless’ truly embodied their ethos.
“For us fashion is more than just in-trend clothes. It is about creating ‘timeless’ pieces inspired from unforgettable eras in beautiful sustainable fabrics that can hang in your wardrobe forever” – Creative Director.
SHEEN now re-branded to ‘timeless’ understands that they have a long way to go until they are a completely sustainable brand. However they want their customers to know that they are passionate about this movement and have already begun taking a step in that direction.
"We only work with compliant factories and our workers are paid a living wage and well looked after. It is our mission to ensure that by the end of 2020 we 25% of the cotton we use is BCI" - Head of Production.
